Copy trading on Kraken
With your Kraken account, TrueFills can
Verify and trade.
Trades are read from the Kraken account itself and sealed daily into a public chain, so what you did there becomes a record anyone can check. And because Kraken supports a connection that places orders as well as one that reads, a strategy you choose can trade the account inside limits you set. Your money stays at Kraken throughout: TrueFills never holds funds, and a trading connection can place orders but cannot withdraw.
What the connection can do
reported by Kraken, not by us
Kraken supports a connection that can place orders, so a strategy's trades can be mirrored into your account automatically once you grant that permission.
Trades are read from the Kraken account itself and sealed daily into a public chain, so a track record built there is checkable by anyone rather than taken on your word.
An order can carry the strategy's exact weight, so a small allocation tracks it closely.
The connection reports the account as it changes, so a day's trades are sealed the day they happen.
A fully released integration, not a preview.
Kraken is a cryptocurrency exchange. TrueFills's own flagship strategy trades equities only, so it has nothing to mirror here.
How it works
Three steps, once. After that a strategy's orders arrive in your Kraken account as it makes them.
1 · Connect
Sign in to Kraken on its own page and grant the connection. TrueFills never sees the password.
2 · Choose and set limits
Pick a strategy, set the amount it may use and the most one order may spend. Nothing is ever sized above them.
3 · It trades
Orders arrive as the strategy makes them, and the log says what happened to each one. Stop it whenever you like.
Whichever you do, the record behind it is read from the brokerage account that placed the trades, sealed daily into a hash chain published in full, and recomputable in your own browser. Recompute a chain or read how a record is verified.
Questions about Kraken
- Does Kraken allow copy trading?
- Through TrueFills, yes. Kraken supports a connection that can place orders, so a strategy you choose can trade your Kraken account automatically. You set the amount it may use and the most any single order may spend, and you can stop it at any time from either side.
- Does TrueFills see my Kraken password?
- No. The sign-in happens on Kraken’s own page, and TrueFills receives a connection rather than your credentials. You can revoke it at Kraken or here, independently.
- Where does my money sit?
- In your own Kraken account, throughout. TrueFills never takes custody of funds and cannot move money out of a brokerage account. A trading connection can place orders; it cannot withdraw.
- What does it cost?
- Following a strategy is free during beta once a brokerage account is connected, or $29 a month without one. Listing a strategy and keeping its record is free.
TrueFills is not affiliated with Kraken. Capabilities are reported by the brokerage connection and can change. Trading involves risk of loss, and past performance, live or simulated, does not guarantee future results.
